Pollination v2

My second game, Pollination, really annoys me.

It was the very first thing I released into the wild for the IGF Pirate Kart in 2012. It kinda worked and people seemed to like its relaxing take on Every Extra Extend. There were 2 or 3 bugs that spoil the game for me. I've tried to fix them in the past but the game is now slightly more confusing and you can use two shots in one tap of the screen which is obviously wrong.

I had thoughts of a different art style and a subtle change to the game mechanic where its all about keeping one shot going to trigger the bonuses rather than 3 individual shots. This has solved some of my major annoyances with the first game but it creates other problems that need to be solved - producing the leaves quick enough to keep a chain going for instance.

I've hit a bit of a brick wall now but as I'm a little bit ahead in the #1GAM this year I'm going to take the opportunity to put it to one side as I also prototyped a spin on the classic pub game of Darts which is immediately fun so I'm going to run with that for a bit longer.
